Qatar Airways Interview - F2F and no update

I understand that, this is not QA HR Alias/feedback forum.
This is to hear from the broad forum users, I don't have any other channel to approach. I attended F2F interview in Doha in May 2012 and its been close to 3 months now. They had me fly from India to Doha for this Interview. I was told that it was for Grade 7.
I have no updates from them, good or bad. I have been writing to the HR and the Hiring Manager every week and no response. From some sources, I hear that QA HR will update, if I was unsuccessful in the interview. I haven't got that update as well.
Is there anyone working for QA IT dept who had to wait this long.

Hi

I had a f2f interview on 13th Jan , all was ok except two three questions that i feel i didn't answered them properly. Interview took one hour and there were two managers. Now i am confused that how seriously those little mistakes will effect on my interview? can anyone suggest me what are the chances getting hired? i applied for commercial job position and i have a MBA degree from UK.

@ Anthonyevangelista and other,

I got the confirmation on my employment, got the offer couple of days back. Now the medical and Visa procesing is on the way.

All I could relate to is "Patience is virtue"

Thanks everyone for your kind responses. Will check back with them after Ramadan. Just couple of days away.

Well I want to share my knowledge about hiring in QA. My own daughter took more than 3 months of waiting before finally offered a package. But she got some reference as well. Having patience a little bit more will do no harm. You can contact them again after the ramadan holidays.

Don't waste your time dear, Just keep on searching for something else too. But if you are selected then surely they will call you in a month or two. Because its very normal for the airlines to take months in hiring. But only waiting i won't prefer because might if you aren't selected then you will feel bad about wasting the 3 months.

Hope for the Best. God always has something better for us than we think.

Good Luck.

Thanks Colt. Do you or anyone know if this wait period is normal. I know a friend of mine took up a job with Emirates Airways and his Interview process went on for 7 months.

Is this normal in Airways/MEA countries?

I think if you were short-listed for the job, they would have sent you the offer letter already. That said, they should also intimate you if you didn't get selected. It's Ramadan and maybe they shortened work timings is creating the delay.

However, my suggestion is don't hold your breathe on that one :-(
