QA's Food and Beverage Service Agenet

I have been offered for the position of food and beverage service agent in Doha Airport.

My salary and other packages said to be like this -

Salary 1850 QR
Accommodation Provided
30 days paid holiday per year
2 return tickets per year
1 holiday ticket per year (world wide)

I was wondering is it good package or something? They never gave me any chance to negotiate. If take the offer, is there any chance i will get promotion after working, like say 2/3 years as assistant manager/manager? They said 6 months is the probation period, does salary increase after the probation period? is there any chance of increment of the basic salary after some time?

Plz share ur opinion!

If you manage to get that UK passport, that salary will go up 10fold :-)

Yeah I'm gonna get my laundry, transportation allowances.

I am a Bangladeshi citizen lived in UK for five years.

I have got a university degree though not related to food and beverage.

And another thing once u have entered as FnB service agent can u switch ur job to other department

doha is getting really expensive... good thing is that they have given you accommodation where a chunk of salary goes if it is not provided by the company... if you are not getting any allowance besides your basic then think again as this place is expensive....u might get a very minimal hike after the probation.. dnt expect a lot

on promotion front ...again depends on ur qualification... passport.. etc .etc....
