QAR 12500 pm Salary Advice!
Dear all,
I just received an offer as total of QAR 12500 package which is covering 6500 base salary+4500 accomodation+1500 car allowance. In addition, there is a plane ticket p/y and health package. I'm a single guy with 5 years of work experience.
So, I know that it depends on the life style and expectations. However, I wonder if this amount will be enough for me to live decently and save something? Thanks a lot.

I agree with acchabaccha, depends on your living standards. 1BHK should be around 3000qar plus 500-1000qar for food and 1000qar for transport. Mobile plan somewhere around 125qar, home internet 250-300qar etc. 12500qar is ok salary but not great. Also depends how much you are planning to save per month.
First of all, where are you from? If you are from an eastern country such as the Philippines, India, Pakistan, Nepal or Sri Lanka, then it is a pretty good salary. However, if you come from a western country, the salary is peanuts and you will not be able to manage here.
Since you are single, accommodation would cost you around QR 1500 should you desire to live in a shared accommodation. You can find one easily here. On the other hand, should you wish to stay alone, accommodation would be around QR 3000. Your food will be around QR 500 should you wish to cook or QR 1000 if you decide to eat outside. Add another QR 1000 for miscellaneous expenses. The rest should all be in your pocket at the end of the month.
