Hi.

Iam very new to this site and got this very useful to anyone who wishes to come down here and work. Thanks for the Site owner and administrator.
Iam from Insurance sector in india.Going straight, I have an offer with a leading Insurance company in Sales in qatar with 3000QR/month(fixed) and incentives apart. Accomodations are provided by company may be on sharing basis. They are ready to offer permanent visa(dont know what it means). They say its very difficult to get permanent visa issued to anyone. Iam single

Is this offer ok enough to lead a decent life and save enough? What else should i have to ask for?

Glad if you can guide me asap so that I can negotiate with the employer accordingly. Thanks a lot

thanks for your reply. Above this, I will be getting incentives based on my performance on sales.I heard that we can earn nearly 20000QR per month also. Anyhow will get the offer this week. Will through it and get back to the forum with details. Thanks again..

Sundar,

3000 a month is quite a low salary. It helps that accomodation is provided but still... You could probably live on 3000 a month but will not have much left over at the end of the month. I would say that being single and not having to pay for accomodation you should really need at least 5000 a month to cover living expenses, entertainment and have a little bit left over to save up.

Best of luck.
