Offer any good?

I need advice on an offer from a Software Services firm to work at Qatar Airways with interests me from a career standpoint. I would be paid 17500 QAR monthly and they would provide free transportation to/from office.
A bit of background on myself: I am an Indian national living in India. I hold a M.S and PhD degree from a premier US institution. I have 3+ years of work experience and all my research and work experience relates to the skill set, I am being hired for.
I am not sure if the offer is appropriate and if I should be negotiating. I was told that the opportunity would last a minimum of 24 months; should I get this in writing so I could make the move abroad worthwhile the hassle?
Any advice on cost of living per month (rent & food) and related matter would be greatly appreciated.

With just 3 years of experience, I would say it is a fair offer.
However, before deciding either way, see if your salary is at least twice what you are getting in India..
If I were you I will not except this offer.The offer does not match your qualification
