NOC & Multi Entry..

Qatar here i come
By Qatar here i come

Hi Guys,

Just wondering, should a NOC Clause and multiple entry permit be included or mentioned in my work offer letter? Or should I ask for it to be included if it’s not there?? Please advise..

Regards

Prize, don't you think you're being judgemental? so when someone asks about NOC is considered lazy ha? isn't this site for people like us that have no idea about Qatar to communicate and advise each other? you're one useless pice of Sh#$t!

Riyal2Rupee; you're just as dumb ass as your mate!

RR, U said u agreed with my observation, then u actually know the fact. Lazy nature worker is caught very easily by the boss on the joining day itself, lol.

Hunbles is right, this new guy is not a reliable worker, his mouth is open, asking too much, he won't work for long.

QHIC, It is clear , how would you like my comments because it's not as per your dreams ...................... Any worker who asks unrelated or impractical queries does not work more than one year at one place ............. What's in one's mind just comes out in the form of words .............. ha ha ha .......... Within the first week clever people start looking for easier / lucrative avenues & bosses / sponsors do negative marking on such speedsters ............

In my opinion, It should be mentioned in your contract rather the offer letter. Of course initial offer letter can be a base for the contract.

Just a thought:

(I was given an implacable increased salary in my first company when I wanted to leave them. After thinking long I refused the increment & left, only for the reason that I had to work with my own colleagues, who does not have the same privilege I supposed to get)

MM I have never seen a comment made by you that's comforting or significant in any way! For what's worth thank you.. by the way I'm not trying to make yours or anybody's day distressful, I'm genuinely asking for advice if you would've sticked to doing just that it would've made your evening much better.

Qatar here I come: also make sure that your company has joined the Wage Protection System. Companies in Qatar have a tendency to delay salary payments with lame excuses.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:51

That's NOT how business works, MM. Are you here on holiday?

WT, We are already equal my pal, we go to same work area, shop at same markets, drive on the same roads, breath in the same Wakrah air, we have the equal right sleep or wake up at our own convenience , we can smile as we wish ......... I am happy & hope Humbles is happy as well ......... ha ha ha ...........

By britexpat• 26 Feb 2016 11:46
britexpat

So in essence, Humbles and MM believe that all the stories about abuse are lies. We should not sign contracts because sponsors are benevelant and only have our best interests at heart.

By Humbles• 26 Feb 2016 11:41
Humbles

Cool down everybody, realx, today is for resting ur body & mind. MM's comments has logic & valid for ever. I support MM.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:38
Wild Turkey

Well, then let the sponsors be "good citizens" first, MM. Equal rights for everybody. Right?

By Molten Metal• 26 Feb 2016 11:37
Molten Metal

WT, In either way you get paid if you first satisfy your boss that's what ...... called a control .......... ........ you 've to stop at red signal .... that's another control ...... we have to follow a system like a good citizen & be proud to be a well disciplined fellow.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:34
Wild Turkey

And to put that right: in Qatar there is no "home". There is a house or a flat, but it isn't "home".

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:33
Wild Turkey

MM, maybe you lock yourself in your home, however, I don't.

By Molten Metal• 26 Feb 2016 11:31
Molten Metal

WT, You, me, Humbles & everybody need control & already working / living under control ..... we lock ourselves inside our own homes for about 12 hrs a day ........ what might be the bigger control than this ?

If you have a job where anybody can easily replace you, of course, then you are in the hands of your good or bad sponsor. The problem for you would be to find out if he's good or if he's bad. Sometimes you find that out only when it's too late.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:29
Wild Turkey

MM, what I do can't be done in the same way by anybody else. My sponsor needs me for his "business". But he doesn't dare to limit me in any way.

By Wunae• 26 Feb 2016 11:28
Wunae

Do not sign an offer without the NOC clause and multi-exit visa. Qatar is a slave state, without the NOC clause you have no rights to change job. Without the multi-exit visa you are barred from even leaving the country, and can remain trapped. Search QL and you will see many bad examples of what has happened to people who get trapped.

If he is a malicious person, well, then, yeah.

By Molten Metal• 26 Feb 2016 11:28

Anybody who is dedicated & sincere with focus on your responsibilities would never ask for NOC ....... one would work like the owner itself ......... to take your sponsor's business to new heights.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:26
Wild Turkey

Nobody in Qatar is better than me in my field of expertise. Why would anybody dare to "control" me?

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:26
Wild Turkey

It depends on your maturity, MM. A professor doesn't need a "check".

By Molten Metal• 26 Feb 2016 11:24
Molten Metal

WT, Having a check on us would prevent us from making mistakes my pal.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:23
Wild Turkey

When I changed my sponsor (after 15 years) he advised me to ask the new sponsor for a written document stating that they will issue NOC. He was a wise Qatari man knowing the "culture" in his own country very well.

By Humbles• 26 Feb 2016 11:21
Humbles

Correct @ MM.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:21
Wild Turkey

You will get maximal control, MM. THEY decide where you go and when. That might be OK for a 3-year old. Is that your age? Just guessing.

By Molten Metal• 26 Feb 2016 11:18
Molten Metal

Humbles, Our sponsors are our guardians ...... like our local-parents so we must trust them from the core of our heart to get max benefits & rewards ...................

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:17
Wild Turkey

Don't trust anybody! Not MM, and not your sponsor, Read through all the posts of QL users who are victims of the "Modern Slavery" system in Qatar. It should open your eyes, - if you have some to see.

By Humbles• 26 Feb 2016 11:16

Agree with MM, this will create mistrust between the two.

By Wild Turkey• 26 Feb 2016 11:11

Definitely "Yes". Don't come if they refuse to include that in the contract. It could mean that they want to enslave you!

By britexpat• 26 Feb 2016 07:58

Yes, it's better to include it before you come over and sign the contract. The contract should also include these details.
