Hye folks~

I've just been invited for a site interview by QP.
Its a Grade 14, Mechanical (Integrity/Inspection) Engineering, location Messaieed, indefinite terms.

I'm Malaysian with 5+ years of xperience in Oil n Gas; holds few API certificates (510, 570) at hand

Here's the offer:
-Basic 15k-17k QR
-Housing 14.2k QR
-Transport Allowance 2k + TASS
-Furniture 55k
-Car loan 5x salary
-Other standards : education, medical

My questins...
1) How much can I possibly save monthly (married with one kid)?
2) If changed to single status (famly not coming),how much will change?
3) Is the basic ok? As far as I know, API holders under contract basis usually got about 500 USD/day.

Any advice and thought is very much appreciated~!! :)
Thanks in advance.

If you'd like to get more, go for contract basis. But I assume you know the trade-offs

Yanni! My HR should read this...

With regards to your Q3 - I think the package is pretty good but I qualify my statement - I'm no engineer. But generally, I heard that if you're here with family, you should have a basic of no less than QR30k per month (exclusive of your other benefits esp. accommodation) because the cost of living is VERY high here, as compared to Malaysia.

And since you said that API holders under contract basis get about USD500 per day...
