Job offer as Account Executive

Hi guys!

I am from the Phillipines with Chemicla Eng'g degree and 6 years experience in the field of Sales and Marketing. I recently applied for a job in Qatar as and Account Executive. Currenlty I am processing my all my medical examination prior to the employment. Initially, the salary and benefits offered are (However I am expecting the final offer soon)

1. Basic - 9,500 QR
2. Location allowance - 1,000 QR/month
3. Car/Tansport allowance - 3,000 QR
4. housing allowance -7,800 QR
5. annual free airfare including family from country of origin vis a vis
6. School Fee is 100% shouldred by the company
7. Medical benefits including family
8. 30 days annual leave, 20 days sick leaves with pay
9. Car Loan and Furniture grant will be given upon completing a 6 months probationary period.

Is this a good offer considering that I have a wife and 3 kids (ages 7, 2 and 1 year old).

While I am having a good job way back home. I am just curious if this package will be suffient to raise a growing family in Qatar.

I would highly appreciate any insights from you guys since I am not that familiar with the cost of living there. Thank you.

First of al you should thank the company who has given this offer to you as you are selected for a position which is quite different than the qualification and experience you possesed.So don't think and just take the offer if you are able to give the company its return for their requirement

u may wish to nego on the housing allwn as rental is pretty high in qtr & may put a dent in your basic salary.

As far as I can see the offering is good, and it's on the average offered.

Not really sure about the salary, but I guess you can go ahead with a counter offer to see what's the response on it?..
