Job Offer

Hi All,

I am a 25yr old single male from the UK, and i have been offered 22,000 QAR a month for a sales job in Doha. This includes accomodation and car allowance. Is this a good offer? Will i be able to have a good social life - go out drinking etc on this salary as well as have a nice flat in an expat community?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

Dan

I will be happy if you try & ask them to make it 30K or accom. paid by your company.

Good Luck !

I advise you to go for it but again it depends on your preferences. It's a very good package as far as I know and the rate of inflation in Qatar which I have been seeing for almost 8 years by now.

Wish you very Good Luck.

seems good

2 bed room apartment will cost you 6000 QR / monthly (good enough)

Easy to get car loan from banks

Social life is so bad in Qatar (in my opinion) - no much entertainments

bars available only in 5star hotels (you can take license, if you wish to buy and drink at home)

-

Overall in my opinion 15k far enough to meet your A-Z expenses, rest is ur savings

it is a private salary. I earn £27,000 in the UK, so this is the equivalent to £45,000. and its tax free

Please accept if it is atleast 3 times than what you earn at present.

A suggestion , please reduce your expenses on drinking to save even more.
