I have been offered a job in Qatar. All in salary is about USD 20,000 per months. I am aware this is on the high side, but I am a Senior Executive working in a financial institution and am currently based in the region. My question is:

1. Accomodation: Since I am going to be working in the city and my children might go to Doha College or Sherborne, what are the locations which is about 20-30 mins from both places?

2. Schools: I have heard it isvery hard to get into schools - any tips?

Send them to boarding schools (you can afford) and then you have more time for your career and might even earn more money [pun intended]

In general admissions are very tight but which classes/grade are they? Lower classes are relatively difficult than the higher ones.

As far the location, Rayyan is better for you.

I would advise you to let your company sort out accommodation and school issues. If they can't come up with a solution, you won't be able either!
