Housing Allowance

Dear members.

i have a question regarding housing allowance. my basic salary is QR 2000 and Accomodation Allowance is QR 1500. i want to know if i take annual leave for 2 months will the company pay me accomodation allowance every month as you know we need to pay the rent monthly for the landlord.

please let me know what is the rule as per qatari labor law. thank you so much

HRA is for the full contract period of 2 years unless specified

Why ? You should get the same salary each month whether on vacation or not - unless you take unpaid leave

if i take leave. only i will get housing allowance every month right ? the basic salary and other allowance will be duducted ?

it doesn't matter if you take leave or not. You will be paid the allowance regardless.

The housing allowance is paid 12 months in a year.
