I have 25 years experience working in Doha, my salary is around 9k now, I am living with my family with high school studding one child.......

All of above mentioned expenses are true, it is very difficult to save some thing for rainy days.

I would be forced to say this is a touch lower salary looking at the amount of experience you have got my friend I would say the basic needs to go up to around QR 10000K and the other allowance figure to another QR 10,000 and then it shud be decent enough...

So have a try if it doesnt come through, then check with ur existing pay cheque...you think you can do with the extra amount in here, then take it...but yea positively things are looking fine just those 2 figures...after all...

LIFE IS A NUMBERS GAME!!!
