Employment Contract/Recruitment Cost/Vacation pay
I am under a 2 year contract in Doha. i am currently at my 12th months. i am decided to resign after a year. i believe that my return ticket is my own expenses and the 21days vacation will give it to me but they told me i will pay the hiring cost/or recruitment cost. it is applicable?
see here the computation;
Air ticket X,XXX
Work Visa 300
Medical Test 100
Contract 60
Total Cost / 730days = multiplied by remaining days... this would be the cost that i will pay less the 21 days vacation as computed like this;
Basic salary X 12/365 X 21days = 21days paid leave
is this correct???because in Saudi the computation is like these;
Vacation pay: Basic salary divided by thirty days multiply by 1.75 (21 days / 12 months = 1.75) multiply by 24 months. (SR0000/30 X 1.75 X 24 = SR 0000.00)
The resident Permit and Health card will not pay because it is only for one year.
Please give me an advise...and how much will i pay and the correct computation or formula for vacation or recruitment cost.

all i can say is, you are in qatar and not in saudi arabia. you cannot compare how they compute the expenses between the 2 countries. computation is also based on the company's by laws.
