Documents needed to change banks re salary transfer

I wish to move from Doha Bank to QNB- I have a letter from QNB to give to my employer that agrees to QNB having my salary transferred. Will my employer need anything from Doha Bank as well to allow the change of banks- I have nothing outstanding at Doha Bank- I just need to cancel my credit card(zero balance).
