Im Samuel from the India. I got a job offer from doha qatar recently. The job offer is summarize as follows.

Basic: 7295qr
housing 7500qr
transpo: 800qr
benefits:
32 paid leave
annual 2 way ticket free
contract status: Married
medical insurance
gratuity: 1 month basic pay
year end discretionary bonus based on performance

Is the job offer good or i will need to further negotiate? Can i save money to support my family here in the philippines and how much is my possible earnings?
What should i do?

according to me, the offer is good.most of the expenses are paid for.......so you should be able to save some.

I have been offered QR20,000 basic with QR7000HA,QR1200 TA,SCHOOLING ALLOWANCE,QR500 FOR UTILITIES FOR A POSITION OF ACCOUNTING MANAGER IN A REPUTED ORGANISATION. AT THE MOMENT I AM PRESENTLY WORKING IN SAUDI ARABIA WITH BASIC SALARY OF APPROX EQUIVALENT TO QR 14000 AND ALL OTHER BENEFITS SIMILAR TO QATAR FOUNDATION WITH ONE BASIC AS BONUS EXCEPT THAT I GET APPROX QR3500 AS HRA NOW.

NOW I AM ABLE TO SAVE ALMOST QR 8,000, WILL I BE ABLE TO SAVE MORE IN QR WITH THE OFFER I HAVE.

for your passport, it is good and fair, but if the new boss can add some for the school fee...that would be even better.

It's a decent package. I think that the amount you would be able to save could go a long way in India, if that's where you are returning. But, I don't think you can get anything bigger than a 2 bedroom unfurnished flat. So see if you get a furniture allowance or in the very least check out www.gulf-times.com and look at the rent situation in Doha. That way you can see if you can live off the package. But, if you can definately try to get an increase
