Al-Mana Exchange India Remittance Stopped

By Ritu

Al-Mana exchange remittance to India has stopped since last 5 days due to some software problem. Money given to them on thursday has not reached India and trapped somewhere within their accounts/system due to 'so called' technical glitch...

There is no commitment on timeframe of rectification of this 'Technical Glitch'.

I have already suffered bounced cheques, in India

I am posting here to help others avoiding such mishaps...

When is a problem with there system than why they are not informing to the Indian customers before taking money. I seen today as well at Al-Mana exchange that they are continue taking money from Indian customers without informing them about system failure.

I request to all readers that please Inform to your friends about it & stop them to go AL MANA EXCHANGE

I Initiated a transfer to my NRI A/c with Federal Bank through Al Mana Exchange, Doha,Qatar on 11th October’ 2012 and today is 25th Oct’ 2012, for the last 14 days I am waiting for money and I am daily checking my account to know the above transaction. But till this time that amount not credited to my a/c. Today, I have checked with Al Mana Exchange, to know what happened my money transfer. The Exchange manager has cross checked their transactions and finally he told me that my tranfered amount through their exchange was depited on 12th Oct’ 2012 itself and he has given that remittance statement copy and Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) Number to me. Additionally he told that as per NEFT norms, the fund has to clear/credited to the specific a/c from 24 hrs to 72 hrs(Maximum).

Then I approached my branch manager through phone, They are confirming that the transaction details which are provided by AlMana Exchange, Doha was wrong, and no more transactions made on that particular NRI a/c. this case i do want to know the particular reason why they made this much delay. So, I want to complaint this issue with concerned dept over Doha. Please advise me.

With regards,

Rafeeq

It is true that hiring remittance processing services makes it easier for the corporate houses to carry out their business in a smooth manner.

Hi buddies,

I disagree about bad service of Almana Exchange. They are doing very good service. I am a regular customer at Muntazah. I am sending money regularly from them at very good rates and immediate credit also.

We should understand the problems of technolgy these days....it happens sometime.... and it can happen to any exchange. Now most of the remittances are credited today. May be tomorrow the system clears all backlog.

Have a nice day friends......

if they are still not clear about remittance date, then you should take a refund from them and go through another exchange.

It could happen with any bank or country. Be patient money will reach there or you can ask them to refund you money.
