Greetings.

I came down to Qatar in the month of June to handle shipping/freight for the Arab Games 2011 on a direct employment.

Due to the lack of information related to freight, I was asked to work for fleet.

Later on, in a span of 3 months, due to hard work and focus, I was asked to become the Acting Head.

In a month's time, I was asked to work as the Acting Head too.

In short, though I was being paid to handle shipping/freight, I was handling the entire operations as a Acting Head and Acting Manager.

When I asked for a raise in salary, I was reminded that I and signed a contract and there is no chance of getting a raise. Though the fact remained that I was still working as the Acting Head and yet the lowest paid in the team.

In November, I was asked to become the Commander of entire logistics since there was no one who could take on the job nor handle the responsibility, I being the nice guy took it on. The events got over and I was pulled back into shipping/freight.

The part which pisses me off, even now, was the fact that I was informed that due to me being a Indian, I can not be promoted nor be paid Qrs. 18,000.

Instead they went ahead and hired another candidate who doesnt have any experience in gulf nor handle the pressure.

Now, I am being forced and almost being bullied into becoming the Commander once again.

I have clearly stated that I do not want to do the job 'coz of the fact that:
1. I was not being paid for it.
2. I have signed a contract for being a shipping/freight guy.
3. My family is coming down in December and thus, I can not work on weekends.

Even then, I am being pulled into the vortex of becoming a commander again.

What should I do? Should I go legal or should i stick onto the fact that I will not do the commander job but instead will focus on shipping/freight?

Advice needed.
