its the same salary what u r earning now...If u want to come here and just roam around the country for a year and go back then its ok.....But i would say that all GCC countries are facing oil crisis now....so after u reach here and if lost ur job while staying here should not creat a financial issue for you...And in summer the temperature would touch 50 deg celcius here...and would be difficult to roam outside...especially...people coming from cooler climatic conditions....but every places in qatar like malls and vehicles are having air conditioning systems....so roaming in the parks at summer even at evening time would also b difficult..

"Is it enough for a single european lady?" Why don't you read before you post, fikhan.

Since you are western and whether you deserve it or not, it would be an insult to accept an offer less than what others have recommended such as 25K (inclusive of package!) To most people in your position from eastern countries this offer would be considered pretty good. It would give a person with all the facilities you state being provided by the company, one could get to save QR 4500 easily on a normal lifestyle.

France has a pretty good social system, you won't find this in Qatar, trust me on this.

IT'S A BIG NAY. Don't accept that offer.

Your offer is QAR.6000. equivalent to EUR.1200. only it's peanut ,if the exchange rate is 1 Eur / 5 Qar. inclusive of accom plus transport is very bad. Saying getting EUR. 1700 w/c equiv to QAR.8500. If you are residing in France that's peanut, but if you are residing in French Africa it's a big money. Demand 25K all inclusive package..

Another option to consider is negotiating the offer. Considering you income in your country; you should ask for at least 10-12k to be happy. Also you could easily get confused with different opinions on this site and it simply because people speak their own point of views. There are almost no standards for salaries here. For the same job description and title you could see huge differences in the pay. If a person makes 3000 qatari ryal monthly and that makes him/her rich in his/her county he/she will tell you it's a great offer. While you can hear a big no from someone makes 40k. What you actually need to know is what's the pay range for what you do! What kind of job is it? we "people on QL" might be able to help you that way and tell you the pay range so you can negotiate properly.

So you will be making about 1500 euros without tax and other expenses. However; if you haven't been out of your country and you don't know what you're going into...you might need to consider a vacation to come and visit before you lose your job. It's not just about income... it's also about if you can make that change! If you were coming for a huge difference in the income you could put all other negatives on a side and be happy making money, but with that little difference you need to know if it's worth leaving your current job. I'm simply saying visit and see if you like it while securing your current job then decide because backing up sometimes is not an option. Good luck

What exactly is the offer? QAR 6,000 PLUS accommodation, PLUS food, PLUS transport? If all that is included in the QAR 6,000 you should just forget it. It is not enough!

if allowances such food ,transports, "Proper" housing will be provided go for it but if u mean they are included then i wouldn't recommend it at all

Depends what the role is. Does that amount include the housing and other allowances? If it does, then it's too low. If the housing and rent are on top and that adds up to around 10k a month, then it would be doable, but you will find it difficult. If you're earning 1700 Euros after tax in France, then better to stay there if you're just looking at it from a money perspective.
