Following is the schedule for Imams of Taraweeh prayers at the Imam Mohammed bin Abdul Wahab Mosque, commonly known as The State Mosque, this Ramadan.

Ramadan 1 to 5 (July 9 to 13) - Sheikh Abdul Wali Al Arkani - عبد الولي الأركاني

Ramadan 6 to 10 (July 14 to 18) - Sheikh Idrees Abkar - إدريس بن محمد أبكر

Ramadan 11 to 15 (July 19 to 23) - Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Kareem - محمد عبد الكريم

Ramadan 16 to 20 (July 24 to 28) - Sheikh Abdullah Basfar ( عبد الله بصفر) and Sheikh Saad Al Ghamdi (سعد الغامدي)

And the young Qatari Imams throughout the month:

Sheikh Turki Ubaid AlMurri
Sheikh Youssef Ashir
Sheikh Mal-Allah AlJaber

NOTE:

- UPDATE: Children under 7 years old are NOT allowed in the mosque for Isha or Taraweeh prayers. In previous years small children were NOT allowed into the mosque. On the first night of Taraweeh this year, children were allowed into the men's section and the downstairs women's section.

- The main prayer hall for women is upstairs, where there is ample space. However, a makeshift area is set up downstairs for mother's with small children. Its advised to carry your own prayer mat if you plan to pray downstairs.

- We will add updates here through the month of Ramadan. Be sure to check back for any new informations.
