Imam Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab Mosque

Imam Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab Mosque (also known as Qatar State Grand Mosque) is the largest mosque in Qatar. Being the most prominent mosque in the country, it brings some of the leading Islamic scholars to Qatar to give lectures and perform prayers, especially Friday prayers and Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan.

Education City Mosque

 Located in the Minaretein Center, the mosque is adorned with the exceptionally significant Minarets, featuring verses drawn from the Holy Qur’an. With the capacity to host 1,800 worshippers in its main prayer hall and another 1,000 in its exterior courtyard, it also serves as a community mosque for the surrounding Al Rayyan area.

Saad Bin Majed Mosque

This mosque is distinguished for its grandeur and its Imam for his heart-soothing recitations and Duas bring hundreds of people from all over Doha during Taraweeh prayers. With its capacity to accommodate over 1000 worshippers, it has been a preferred mosque for Qiyam Ul Layl too.

Al-Emadi Mosque

This magnificent community mosque is a spacious mosque with beautiful interiors. The mosque can accommodate about 1000 worshippers. The mosque also features a library is also there with a large collection of books

Lusail Marina Mosque

Lusail Marina Mosque (Al Manaa Mosque) is a newly opened mosque in Lusail city for daily prayers for men, women, and children. For Ramadan, Taraweeh prayer is led by Sheikh Abdul Rasheed Soofi, known for his heart-touching voice and soothing recitation. The Mosque also features a courtyard that is semi- open air that serves to accommodate a large number of worshipers.

West Bay Jamia Masjid

Al Wukair Grand Mosque

Al Wukair Grand Mosque also known as Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdurahman Masjid is simple yet a stunning mosque in the area. The mosque is well-maintained and very spacious with a courtyard and can accommodate around 2000 worshipers.

Al Shouyoukh Mosque

Al Shouyoukh Mosque is another early mosque of Doha popular among many residents of Qatar. Located just beside Souq Waqif, the mosques’ tall minaret and green domes are quite prominent. The spacious mosque can accommodate over 1000 worshipers.

Blue Mosque Katara

One of the most picturesque mosques around Doha because unlike other typical mosques around the country, the Katara Mosque features Persian/Turkish tile and enamel work in shades of blue and gold by the famous Turkish mosque designer, Zainab Fadil Oglu. For Ramadan, Taraweeh prayers are led by known reciters followed by Islamic lectures.
