Msheireb Downtown Doha comes alive with an exciting lineup of activities throughout Ramadan 2025. The district will serve as a hub of cultural, culinary, and spiritual celebrations, offering a rich blend of tradition and modern experiences for all ages.

 

Layali Msheireb

This year’s Ramadan festivities include Layali Msheireb, a special celebration at Barahat Msheireb offering unique experiences such as kids’ activities, live music performances, and artistic workshops. Explore the city adorned with cultural installations, and lounges, creating a very festive vibe.

Location: Barahat Msheireb

Date: Till end of Ramadan

Time: From Iftar to 2 am

 

Baraha Ramadan Nights

Celebrate Ramadan in Barahat Msheireb with exquisite Iftar or Suhoor by Mandarin Oriental Doha Hotel. Indulge in the rich flavors of Ramadan with live cooking stations accompanied by live music. Kids can enjoy activities and a special kids buffet area, creating an unforgettable family experience.

Ramadan in Al Kahraba Street

The streets of Msheireb have a long and important history. Al Kahraba Street was the first street where electricity flowed and shop fronts were lit with neon signs. Al Kahraba Street 1950’s encompassed: the first electrical power station in Doha, “Saida Bakery”, shops like “Modern Home”. Abdulla Bin Thani Street contained the first bookstore “Alurooba Library”, the first ice factory and the first public park, established in 1955. The first traffic light was installed in Al Rayan Street in the 1960’s.

During Ramadan, these historic streets would transform with special decorations becoming gathering places for families. The spiritual ambiance of Ramadan added another layer of significance to Msheireb’s streets, further cementing their role as the social and cultural guide us towards the future with “Msheireb Downtown Doha”.

Ramadan In Hosh Msheireb

Step into the heart of Msheireb Museums and experience the warmth of Ramadan like never before. Inspired by the cherished family gatherings in the courtyard of a Qatari heritage house, Hosh Msheireb brings the essence of tradition, community, and nostalgia to life in a truly immersive setting. Gather with family and friends in an atmosphere that embraces the true spirit of Ramadan—where tradition and cherished moments come to life.

Location: Company House - Msheireb Museums

Date: Till end of Ramadan

Time: 8 pm – 1 am

 

Site-Wide Activations & Light Displays

Msheireb Downtown Doha will feature stunning light installations, decorative elements, and interactive experiences, creating a captivating ambiance across the entire district. These light shows will illuminate the area, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

Date: Till end of Ramadan

 

Ramadan Lounge at Sikkat Wadi

An interactive art installation called the Giving Hands Initiative highlighting the spirit of giving will be displayed at Sikkat Wadi Msheireb. Also there will be art workshops and other entertainment activities for kids.

Location: Sikkat Wadi, Msheireb

Date: Till end of Ramadan

Time: 9 pm – 12 am

 

Taraweeh Prayer

Msheireb Downtown Doha mosques will host spiritual lectures and Quran recitations throughout the month, with renowned scholars fostering deeper connections within the community.

Location: Msheireb Mosque, Al Wadi Mosque, Baraha Mosque, Msheireb Prayer Ground
