Sporty Qatar?
Hey all - I am doing some research on the sporting culture in Qatar, and would so appreciate your help! I would love to know what sports are commonly played by Qatari children, who the sporting heroes are but also if there's any sports that you wish you can do but can't... for example, I would love to try rally car racing...
Any other comments or indights you have will be very gratefully received!

the people here expacially the kids are fanatic about football (soccer), personally im not that into, but people here go crazy after a big local mach . :P i mean out on the streets with team flags out of there cars screaming an yelling . :P

rock climbing :) not too many rocks say a few QL friends of mine..though buildering is the new thing - climbing buildings :) - so you never know! though word has it there's a climbing wall at the city centre, so let's try hype up the situation perhaps someone decides to build a fully blown climbing centre! aside of that, kite surfing & offroading..
