Patriotic People in QATAR

brightstar
By brightstar

I'm fed up of patriotic people here in qatar going on about how much they miss their precious home country. They go on about how 'great' and 'better' it is to Qatar.
Well all I have to say to that is PLEASE go back to where you came from, because I'm positive won't get the salary that they pay here in Qatar. On top of that, the tax payer will be knocking on your door taking most of your hard earned cash away.
So for those who don't appreciate Qatar for what it really is - a beautiful, sunny luxury country, and think that where YOU come from is so much better place to live... Do us all a favor and GO!

I am born and brought up in Qatar. I love this place like any thing. I feel here more like home then any where else in the world. Long live Qatar.

Peace.

Nothing wrong about being patriotic.... i am an indian and i am patriotic about my country. there are certain things that are better in my country, yes there are and yes there are certain things better in qatar than india.

Qatar is a lot better in many ways, i earn bread for me and my family and i m grateful to qatar. and i also dislike people who curse this country.

Yep ONEmakikomoto , seems like someone just spat the dummy. Personally im fed up with this "if you dont like it go" attitude. What is wrong with constructive criticism. its normal to criticise, complain, whinge about anyplace that you are living in. No country is perfect and certainly Qatar isnt an exception. QL is a place where people can discuss the good and the bad in Qatar. Highlighting the bad things in qatar doesnt mean you hate the country, but this brings awareness to whats happening here and hopefully might lead to change someday to make this country an even better place to live for everyone.

Home is home !!!! Those who are patriotic should be appreciated,, but no bashing on the place where you earn your mealticket.Thats unfair.

Expatriates always look for better opportunities, outside home there are options for them too.. so comparison is among them.. choice is yours. A better opportunity at a better place , anyone would move.

Qatar is not as bad as many other countries.

I'm Qatari and I love my country, but that wont stop me from calling a spade a spade. However, what I do have a problem with is people who are consistently rude, nasty and ungrateful to their host country and its people. Unfortunately, you see a lot of those around here.

So you're saying all that Qatar has to offer expats is money?

I dont agree and dont wanna go.
