Kahramaa refund REDICULOUS

I went to Kahramaa to get my 2000qr refund cos I was cutting my power. Guess the rediculous procedure? I have to wait either 10 mins or 1 hr for the meter reader. Not only that, I have to fetch him to my house-read meter and then send him back!! He was big, ugly smelly and even slept in my car. Can't they drive their own car? having done that, I had to queue up at counter D then cashier then D again to get my money back. In the end I got back only 900qr, of which 500qr was power/water charges and 400+qr was admin charges!!

When I moved I didn't have to pay any admin charges. They refunded 2000 less about 100 riyals for the outstanding amount of water and electricity. Sure it took a little while, most things do in this country, but no longer than I anticipated.

It is the standard procedure for cancellation/termination of W&E. Even I had to go through the same when I shifted to our new place. QR.500 is the charges as per the last reading, which the "smelly ugly big guy" took. You must understand one thing, these "smelly" guys are low paid workers who go around takin readings/reconnect etc. the job is not fun in the hot weather and impatient ppl like you. So buddy, please stop whining. This isnt pizza delivery...

"Is living in Qatar worth it??" Oh come on...
