Arabic Words for Today

Marhaban jameea'n!

So how's your weekend? For today, we will learn the right words to describe it.

mudjir - boring
muthiir - exciting

These are easy to memorize because they look very similar, except for some change in the spelling and pronunciation.

Mr. Osama or any of our Arabic-speaking friends will surely give us more info later, such as whether these terms are formal or informal or whether other terms are used locally.

Alikhalid, Osama did say earlier that "mutheer", "mutheera" is rarely used. So what is the commonly used local word for "exciting," apart from "mosally" which means entertaining?

Shisha: u can say (Ana Mutheera) but why you are creating trouble for others!? they can recognize this without telling them!

Strawberry, I think you can say "Ena mutheera."

I think it's better to start learning the very common Arabic between all Arabs, and that used in daily basis.

because some words such as "Mutheer" might be used but not commonly really.

thank you

Ahlan dpatrick = welcome

Mudjer = Momel = boring

Mutheer = exciting but it is rearly used alone coz it means Hot (e.g. howa mutheer = he is hot, heya mutheera = she is hot = s exy)

but also we can say (hazehe al sayara mutheera lel entebah = this car is exciting for attention)

so the opposite of Mudjer which is commonly used is

Mosally = entertaining

Thanks, Safari911. I'm not a native Arabic speaker and just trying to learn the language like most people here are. Let's wait for some Arabic speakers to wake up and they will surely provide the phonetic pronunciatio for you.

This is a great idea. Can you print the fonetic pronunciation of the words as well?
