on the garden wall between our houses which was ok, and quite cute to watch them .... BUT !!

she went on holiday.

I came down to my kitchen one morning and saw a squirrel peering at me through the casement door. Just as I was about to open the door and lob some bread out for it, it threw itself at my window and when it realised it couldn't get in that way (after 2 or 3 tries) it proceeded to gnaw away at the door frame.

I tell you, there was NO WAY I was going to open that door after that little exhibition!

Squirrels, around where I used to live, took on a similar attitude to sea gulls when they get accustomed to human beings feeding them. They begin thinking it's their God given right to grab the food from out of your hands or your baby's mouth!

Scary! but true.

Oh guinea pigs are cute little fellas...there nice and cuddly..what about silly and stupid humans? Can they be the solution to world hunger??

i looked after someones pet rat once - really handy for getting rid of unwanted suitors!

i like labradors and dalmatians (no small dogs please!)

and mad half wild cats! i had my cat for 16 years loved it madly only sane member of my family

bloody guinea pigs... silly pets... they are my solution to a lot of hunger in the world because they are small thus eat as you go and no refrigeration and they are easily kept.

Vietnamese Pot bellied Pig. My neighbour had one at Uni and I thought it was cutest pet ever. He used to walk it around the neighbour hood on a leash.

it was during my college days, few squirrels used to play outside window of my hostel room, and I started keeping biscuits, cakes and so on near by my window and slowly went on reducing the distance and finally inside the window, then only 2 squirrels dared to enter the window. I started to keep it on my hand and extend it to them, and one of the squirrel was so playful it started to eat from my hand, everyday it used to come at the same time and if I was out it used to be waiting.

that would be my favorite pet if ever i can adopt any in the future :) , but kittens are also so cute.

that would be a dog.

oh, i miss my dog...she died when she was 13.

that was like the sweetest thing in the world...and she had her own character, too.

would really love to have a dog here, but how could i leave one or half day at home all alone? :/

moonbeam, much as i wanted to, i cant...i have a room mate who has a dog, and you know what will happen to the poor cat if ever..

Why don't you adopt a cat? There are some really cute kittens desperately looking for homes on the Pets and Animals group.

they are Active and energetic, Love birds have a mind of their own , loving and singing and mostly i love my love bird.

Don't even get me started about poaching.....it breaks my heart....I've seriously had sleepless nights over it....and the fact that people still wear fur...well I won't say on QL what I think should happen to these people..I WOULD be banned!!

I have to say cats.....leopards, tigers, jaguars, lions, cheetahs etc.... and of course the domestic cat....they are so independant, intelligent, stubborn, stunning, wild, eccentric, fun, opinionated, exotic and elegant!

Cats are the best and most superior creatures god created....cat lovers appreciate cats’ independence and beauty, while dogs lovers like the submission the dogs give to them…I personally love all animals, however I find dogs stupid and boring creatures :D

I once had a squirrel. But it was my part time pet for around 6 months. Used to come to my room for 2 hours almost daily.

but have had snakes, turtles, cockatiels, rabbits, cats, and guinea pigs...when I get back..I'm going to have to get another dog..I miss mine...
