World Cup 2022 - ONLY FAMILY ALLOWED...

Mac G
By Mac G

QATAR WILL CHANGE THIER ATTITUDE?--------------

TODAY I BEEN TO CORNICHE FOR SEEING NATIONAL DAY PROGRAMS WITH MY FRIENDS... BUT SURPRISINGLY THEY STOP US ON THE MID WAY AND SAID "YALLA RAFFIK ONLY FAMILY" WHAT THE HECK IS THIS.
IF YOU GO FOR SHOPPING - YALLA FAMILY ONLY
IF YOU GO TO PARK - YALLA FAMILY ONLY
IF YOU GO TO ANY PROGRAMS -FAMILY ONLY

SO FINLAY FOR WORLDCUP ALSO IS GOING TO BE - ONLY FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS-

WE WERE SO PROUD TO SAY THAT WE WORK AND LIVE IN QATAR AND WAS REALLY CELEBRATING THE WIN OVER BIDDING 2022-

SERIOUSLY NOW WE ARE UPSET WITH THEIR ATTITUDE...

WHAT MAKE THE DIFFERANCE WHEN YOU ALLOW FAMILY. SO WHICH MEANS THE FAMILY WITH KIDS WILL WATCH THE FOOTBALL MATCH ,WILL THAT COULD BE A SUCCESS??

QATAR HAVE A LONG GROUNP OF SECURITY, WHY CANT THEY LOOK FOR WHO MAKE TROUBLES. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO STOP ALL THE BACHELORS/??

AND IF YOU SPEAK ARABIC. YALLA YALLA SHAKE HANDS AND YOU CAN GO AHEAD, SO THE ONE WHO SPEAK ARABIC DOESNT CREATE TROUBLES//..

QATR REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE AGAINST THE PUBLIC...

bulls*#t...so i'm supposed to put on a bloody suit & tie everytime i want to buy groceries?!?!...please,i HATE dressing formally,i wear shorts/cargo pants/jeans & polo shirts MOST of the time,i'm brown skinned & have been stopped 2 or 3 times but the moment i open my mouth to speak, the guard usually steps aside to let me in!...There HAVE to be venues for bachelors just like they enforce family days @ the malls, that's fair, what's unfair is having NO VENUE for families except the air conditoned confines of a mall & absolutely NOTHING for bachelors & then preventing them from entering the malls as well...ridiculous...

By ramil26• 20 Dec 2010 09:13
ramil26

as if that will help, i susally go to malls well dressed, walk and talk properly, yet i was not allowed. when i asked the security staff why he let the "white" man in front of me inside, he simply retorted, "why, are you white".

ComeooooooN..... Why do these ex patriots need to see the national day of Qatar.... Its a day for Qatar. and You(we) guys are not invited... BTW am from the subcontinent and never went to see a parade in my country which was held every year for the last 60years or so...

Guys listen.. This country wants us to work for money. So we work and earn.... when u think its enough just leave... like everyone in the past... Loving Qatar is just not an Option(coz its not urs(mine).

But if u are from the WEST then its a different story(coz Arabs REALLY REALLY LOVE THE WESTERNERS)... maybe for hw they treat the arabs i guess. ;)

wk, of course i tolerated it. everyone has a right to be there :) and there wasn't just one bachelor who blocked my view. a whole mob i think, who ran to the fences when the parade started. i did have a clear view during the dhow parade but there were too many people behind me just moments after that and i couldn't look back anymore.

and no, i did not block anyone's view. i was at the front row at the fences standing below the gutter. the people who blocked my view were above standing behind me on the gutter.

yes, santa was there, i promise. i don't know if he was one of those who jumped over the fences though. he was already on the 'island' between the lanes when i saw him. here's his pic:

This is for aries_r_2001 , its so true about what you say, its discrimination but only against mostly indians because they ruin the big picture...yesterday I was at the corniche with my family and it was so full of indian bachelors, honestly it was disgusting ...however there were alot of Philippinos but they were in their best image ...so I don't think that it was you who were pointed for .... Cheers and Indians no offense !!!!

Wirehead a bachelor blocked your view of the airshow????

Why did you tolerate this, his head should be chopped off..

P.S.- Did you block someone's view? Was there anyone behind you?

By anonymous• 18 Dec 2010 14:10

get married your problem will be solved

By wirehead• 18 Dec 2010 14:06
wirehead

but there were lots of bachelors there earlier. more than there were families i think. many of them trapped me in my spot and blocked my view of the airshow. which sucks big time btw. lots of them also jumped over the fences so they can go watch what was happening at the other lane and the police can do nothing to stop them. i even saw one in a santa suit.

maybe the grandstand seats are for families only? or maybe you're just terrible at finding a good place to watch the parade.

Yes Coffee... Hehehe :) Life is not that critical they're just making it that way.

You dont like the happenings around you, then why uoui have to stay right?

Go & leave and be happy! :)

By anonymous• 18 Dec 2010 12:48

Yeah they need to change but there's always a solution for everything. Why don't you just park far away and walk to Corniche? There are so many loopholes in these kinds of events.

You are here and I supposed that you guys will respect the rules of your host country! If you cannot bare with this rules & procedure, you are free to pack your things & go. Its very simple, nobody forces you to stay here and whine after all.

By rainjohan• 18 Dec 2010 12:34
rainjohan

I hope not to see this policy during the 2022. Okey, national day celebration is only for qatari's but how about in mall and park? Why they just not make a policy that expat or other nationalities are not welcome here and not to hire any workers from other countries. It's like your invited by your neighbor to visit their house for a party but when you're there you're not allowed to enter, so sad......

you had written is one hundred persontage wright. Qatar has to change alot to organize such a huge Event like FIFA 2022.

Conservative ideas and administrations will definitely damage the reputation of qatar.Govt has to make huge changes to conduct this event where 60 percentages of uropein/Asian and latin american crouds are expected those who had lived in an environ ment is absolutely offer full freedom.

Last fifteen years qatar has economically developed a lot but not much changes in the expatriate management like other middle east coutries had devoleped or Implemented.Hope FIFA 2022 will change lots of things which millions of people can come and see the game.

regards

Ahamed

it's the policy my friend, but actually behind that policy is discrimination. try to wait/observe some groups of bachelor arabs or white people they will let them in.
