Why is it that people are calling her a slut, what about the man? Slut= slovenly or promiscuous. What about him. If we are to assume that she does this with many men, why wouldn't we assume that he does this with many woman. Not to condone her behavior but most of the comments seem to be against her. If that young lady hit a cop in the united kingdom or north america i am quite confident she would had gotten slammed back! and rightfully so. I've seen it too many times where americans and others of western societies go to these countries and disrespect the laws. I mean really, they both should be ashamed of themselves. Foreign people of non-muslim origin should only be allowed to drink in their houses as outside it will lead to some irresponsible behaviours, but who can make it sure that it will be so?. Even in more liberal country like USA in some decent apartment complexes people are not allowed to drink openly in spaces outside their aparments.

The woman can win her case in the court by saying that she did not remember what she was doing as she was totally drunk, but real thing lies in the UAE laws for non muslims regarding alcohol.

Just illogical laws to me...What I don't get about UAE is that ALCOHOL is also not allowed in Islam. So, why do they serve alcohol and allow people to get stumbling drunk and then arrest them for it??? Why do they sell alcohol, but now allow unmarried couples to live together??? I am Muslim, and I don't agree with either, but why do they ban one forbidden thing and allow another??? Sex outside of marriage has it's awful consequences of transmitting disease and tearing families apart and leads to societal decline, but alcohol also has affected SO many families with drunk driving accidents killing and maming people, and alcohol LEADS to things such as sex on beaches in full view of others. If they are going to ban one thing, ban them all and let us Muslims in Muslim countries live in a safe, clean society.
