Why incriminate?

During my stay here, I found that the people tend to incriminate others when the things go wrong. I would like to share an incident happened a couple of days on the road.
We, four of us went to one of the malls around 8 pm and one of my friends was with us a Arabic lady. When we were stopped at a intersection’s signal by the red and after couple of seconds someone banged us on the back side of our car that we were travelling. Immediately, my friend who was driving got out the car and went behind to see the damages and the other car driver who was a male without getting out of the car started to shout in Arabic saying why we blocked his way? My friend pointed out the red signal and then the other car driver started his arguments which didn’t have any logic at all without getting out of his car. Suddenly, he made the reverse and attempted to flee. But for our luck, a police officer came down from a red colour Nissan Petrol parked nearby and stopped the other driver. Later, that the police officer found no proper paper found in his procession to drive the vehicle.

That is normal way of driving for some local here around qatar. They have huge SUV or pick up and whenever they are behind you, you shall get out very quickly to give way otherwise they will ruin your day! Very sad attitude.

I witnessed a moron in his Land cruiser tailgating a lady with 3 small kids in the car at the fast lane.Towards the exhibition center round about. She was on 90 to 100 which is the limit and didnt give way..

This idiot over took and cut to her front and played lots of drama on the road. She some how managed to hold her corolla away from him. when will this guys grow up?

Losers. But good of you ladies for standing your ground and getting that jerk busted. No one, regardless of what car he/she drives, and where he/she was born, etc has the right to treat others lowly. When they do it's good to put em in their place, however you can. Kudos to you!

Even though it is obviously wrong, the fact that there may be real legal consequences that seriously affect their lives makes them more hesitant to be honest.

"Why do people incriminate others here in Qatar?"

Not just in Qatar , but most other places. Honesty is not part of most people's lives anymore.
