Who is a BETTER Boss : MEN or WOMEN ?

By azilana7037

FEMALE BOSSES ARE…

Considerate and nurturing

Suspicious of other women
Too confident and aggressive
Catty, indecisive and emotional.

MALE BOSSES ARE…

Likely to give more functional autonomy

Focused and faster in decision-making

Too assertive

Have preconceived notions of the leader image

So...tell me what you think?

Either male or female, if the person is well educated, understands to deal with employee in a professional & proper manner & doesnt have any ego issues, they would make great bosses.

having a boss of either gender is okay with me as long as he/she is capable and knows what he/she is doing.

Good boss? for me it has nothing to do with gender. a person with reasonable experience, broadminded, have people skills and of course intellectual capabilities - technical skill to carry out responsibilities in their department - makes a good boss.

i have worked with male and female bosses and gender is not an issue. most of the time its knowledge + work ethics.

I have had my bitter experiences... female bosses show more preferences to ladies and are so laid back in decision making... never satisfied with what they have and do all the stupid things they can.. have seen this in HSBC, Qatar.... where as the men bosses are quite poised, they know what is to be done.. more diplomatic , fast decision making skills..... wont put the head down when in pressure.....

It varies person to person…

I have never worked under a female boss, but I’m sure they are not decisive, practical and realistic at all… and a reason could be their less exposure to this harsh and cold male dominated corporate world, where you have no retakes.

but in some cases women are doing extremely good as well...

I agree with Alexa, dont judge by their gender, judge by their management expertise...You get good and bad bosses regardless of their gender, its more about their personality..

I worked under a female boss once... After that I decided never to work under a lady.

Maybe not all female bosses are bad but mine was not nice. Everyone @ work hated her.

And all the 4 male bosses I had were super nice.

In my experiences women bosses are not very good people managers......and suspicious of everyone, not only women.

I must admit they are very efficient though.

better Boss?

irregardless... no matter who they are...

any of them can be best...

i find better increment's negotiation with female boss...

you could dearly ask like as if your mother... :D

though if to based on my personal job experience...

i find good job association with males bosses...

which is best now? salary or job contentment?

I had good experience with both, females and males, but must say I prefer men - women can be more bitchy...

But then, on the other hand, they can be more understanding too....

Oh, I think it depends on the personality of the boss. Not everybody can be a boss.

MALE BOSS...reasons are mentioned above.

My work experiences are in industries generally male-dominated. I find it more challenging to prove to them and myself that I'm someone to reckon with when it comes to doing my job to a "T" coz i know i'm good in what I do...
