Normally Maids and shop assistance normally get around QR1000 to QR2000 per month, plus accommodation and a ticket every two years as a minimum. Now you can convert that into your country currency.

UkEngQatar, If working as nanny or shop keeper, seller normally how much basic salary? I could understand n speak English well.

In that case you need to go to Manpower recruiting company's who can give you list of applicants on their list.

Else look for someone who is leaving Qatar and may want the maid to transfer under your sponsorship.

Else just advertise on QL in Classifieds under services for live out Maid with or with out own Visa.

Live out Maids are more expensive..

I would much prefer to sponsor but do not have maids quarters so would have to be live out.

Technically you can only have a maid work for you if she is sponsored by you, unless she has a sponsor who is willing to let her work any where!

I guess you looking for an outside with own visa to work for you but to live outside?

Depend on quality of applicant but good. I just want someone good and easy going who can manage our household and doesn't get sick every 5 minutes and has excellent english.
