I loved dressing up like a boy and acting like one too..I tricked so many people into believing I was a guy! Back then it was all so cool nowadays though they'd prolly diagnose someone like me with something!

Flor1212 was just joking Drovers Dog, we dont even have newspapers in the Philippines till now. We use our laptops and ipads to read news.

I had a catapult in my hands and marbles in the pocket...was too proud a boy boasting of my skills in both :)

Those were hard times. We were very poor. If I hadn't been a boy, I would have had nothing to play with :O(

I was already doing newspaper delivery to earn extra pocket money going to school (grade 6 elementary).

And when I was 12, used to walk about 4 kms just to reach school (one way).

When i was 12 ... you used to poo poo in you pants :P

This was so the dog would play with me.... now my 5yesr old has the PSP, the PS3. His own HP laptop computer, his own motor bike, and his own beach buggy... but i draw the line at a PHONE

When I was 12, the Indian plate cut itself off from Madagaskar and sailed off for a date with Eurasia. I remember I sat there dressed in dino-skin with a little sail made up from skin shed by a super croc!

When I was 12 I had just hopped out of my mama’s pouch and began Chilling like a real dude dude ^.^. Started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared. She said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Brisbane." I whistled for a cab and when it came near the

License plate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror

if anything I could say that this cab was rare

but I thought nah, forget it, yo homes to Brisbane!

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight

And I yelled to the cabby "Yo, homes smell you later!"

Looked at my kingdom I was finally there

to sit on my throne as the prince of Brisbane.

the ice cream we use to get at Bismillah hotel was awesome....

at that time, it would only be during eid, that you would find a few cars waiting at the (hand full of)signals at 9pm or past 9pm, and you would comment "There was traffic at the signals today, must be because of eid"

What about Zam Zam in Fariq Abdul Aziz and old bismilaa in SOuq

The only shopping places were Souq Nabina. Iranian market and off-course The Centre..

mesaieed wasnt a barren land, the industries were there and the residential area, but coming to Mesaieed to visit family friends during weekend trips used to be a major thrill, almost a picnic.

Raslaffan and khor, would have been more barren, its developed fast only over the last few years.

School picnics used to be to AlKhor part, thats it....or the zoo.

When I was 12.. I was playing basket ball..table tennis...climbing trees...fighting with boys... dancing with MJ songs...playing cricket in the street... had loads of fun...:)

when i was 12, I was either studying or listening to QBS using my Tape Recorder, or trying catch Bahrain 55 or Dubai 33 to watch a decent Serial. Copying from one tape to another was the thrill.
