would you have a procedure done out here, or would you go to another country to have it done?
How good is the healthcare out here really? Would you trust them?

I have little experience with the hospitals out here and need to know what people think!

If you need ivf I would recommend you go to see Dr. Abu Zainab. He is a very good gyno and is specialized in fertility. He operated on me many years ago. I really trust him. Unfortunately I do not have his present office number as he moved. But I believe someone told me he is near the Gulf Cinema. I am sure you can get the number from information. He will tell you then what hospital he would be associated with. Ofcourse this would be private. Do you have medical coverage?

Dr Zeenat Rizvi is supposed to be a very good gynaecologist/obstetrician at the Al-Ahli, she might be a good person to give advice on IVF procedures here.

We just got finished with a short stay at Al-Ahli Hospital. Extremely nice hospital! The nurses and doctors were wonderful, the rooms were very nice and the food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

Charmed – wherever you decide to have the treatment make sure you trust the doctor. Although I didn't have any significant experience with hospitals in Doha, I don't trust the health care system here, well in fact I'm very picky when it comes to my health and who should take care of it in general …. Anyway I guess what I mean to say is that if I were you I'd go somewhere else.

P.S. how have you been, I haven't seen you guys around for a while?

I have had 3 major operations done in Qatar and was evry happy with the doctors that did the operation. But then I knew who would be doning the cutting....

I think that is very important. Now these doctors have all left Hamad. So depending on what kind of operation you would need, let us know & we can do a better job on advising as it is the doctor who is the most important here.

what procedure do you mean?

Healthcare is OK not that great.

I've had an opn done in Hamad and it went fine Alhamdulilla.

But some have had wrong experiences and there have been incidents where

Hamad has been asked to pay million because of botched operations.
