While my Dad's parents are the the German and the Irish so they live with my Father's brother in Canada so I see them all once a year. The French/Miqmaq side is my Mom's parents and they are both passed on :( so no.

Really though every part of the family has been in Canada or the US for over 350 years so we are really just Canadian. Although 350 years ago they all were fighting against each other thanks to the American Revolution. :)

Stay safe, and I hope you're all enjoying your hard earned day of rest :o)

Hello, to all of you..

I have Lebanese roots, mixture of 50%Lebanese and 50%Spanish. I am told that I look more Lebanese than Spaish. My last name is aribic and my first name is to. The name on the webcite is my nickname. I have bin brout up with both of those natinalitys. I speak aribic and spanish and english. I was brout up with strong values and morals being that my parents were very strict. When my father met my mother he also thought she was Arabic at first. Some people in the clubs think I am arabic only. I also like dancing to Arabic music. My life revolves around both of them...

It's the best gift ive ever had. I am proud of who I am...

and it is not what you are, but what you make of your life..

I think they are called that.

My mom told me thats probably where I got my coloring: black hair, green eyes and very pale skin!

Its hard to figure out my exact herritage since I am American and my family came to the US in the 1600 and 1700's.

I believe there is Moorins blood in the west coast of Ireland from when the Moors used to over-shoot England when they were taking English as slaves from the Bristol Channel.

Some of them would ship wreck on the west Irish coast and stayed there.

Hence the dark hair and eyes of some of the people there.

Are they not called Colleens?

I was talking to some Tiawanese people in Liverpool a few years ago who were suprised I couldn't tell different orientals apart.

I asked him if he could tell the difference between British, French and German.

He couldn't.

When people are similar to us we notice the differences.

When they are very different to us we tend to just see the main difference.
