What was all this then?

Found this in the Gulf Times;

"THE organisers of a Malayalam stage show, which was halted soon after it started on Thursday night as crowds turned violent, said yesterday they were ready to hold the event again soon if they got police permission.
Speaking to Gulf Times, they said that if allowed to hold the ‘Arabian Manikillukkam’ show again, they would ensure that all those who had counterfoils of tickets for the cancelled show at the Ideal Indian School grounds would be admitted without paying extra."

Was anyone there?

What was it?

And what happend?

I'm just being nosey.

Yeah I heard about it too from someone who happened to be there that evening....it seemed like a street fight with throwing chairs and tables. I think the organisers were simply greedy..they let in more people then actual capacity.

I only pasted the first bit.

I didn't want to start a slagging match.

I was just curious about what it was all about.

How right you are, public events are private affairs that are nobody's business!

I'm surprised the GT didn't elaborate, what with their coverage of the minutiae that goes on at this meeting, that seminar, such and such get together that only the people in the pictures care about... Which reminds me, where are the pics of this melee? Too embarrassing?
