This is a new forum topic that carries on from the myspace/facebook thread.

We started asking:

What online social networks/communities do YOU belong to, & which one tops your list?

1. YOUTUBE (tops my list as I love the hilarious ideas ppl come up with)

2. MYSPACE (gave into peer pressure...now i use it to blog with a private profile setting)

3. QL (its relevent to where i live...so i like it)

4. FACEBOOK (got recruited by my bully friends..i find it a bit boring and stalkerish)

I use facebook all the time and go to Kontraband to amuse myself...in a funny way before you all get ideas !

you are not allow to make get together without the forum concern, or posting your e-mail address there. You only allow to attend their get together by the site. And also you are not allow to use the site for chatting purposes. I broke all those rules. And thats why i got banned.

but it seems nowadays expatwoman.com qatar section loosen up in their dictator mode rules. I can't be bother to go back there though. Once i am gone i am gone. I never go back posting there eventhough i still read the site now and again. If i read some question un-answered normally i asked girlfriend to post the answer for me.

and also ... once they find out you are a male ... most of the time the will ban you too ... as you can see from the site : expatwoman.com , means male user are not welcome :-)

i put my thumb up for britishexpats.com, the site age not very old (still older than QL), but it covered alot of section around the world.

I have a habit of signing up for these things, being enthusiastic for a couple of weeks, then never visiting them again. At the moment, I'm on facebook. I get all my tech news from slashdot. And that's about it. (Apart from QL and my own site.)

I seem to be spending less time surfing people's blogs because a few of my friends have stopped blogging recently.

1. QL.com - it the sanity rope I cling to ever since my MAN left; here i met lots of real friends...in and out of the site

2. Friendster - not in the list but my account is always updated; only missing is the blogs (I have in QL.com)

3. YOUTUBE - my daughter introduced me to this site; here I can relate to what my teenager likes

4. MYSPACE - I'm a member (i think) but got no time to update it

5. FACEBOOK - got recruited but don't know who...
