useless cargo companies

these small companies who send ur cargo or freight are just useless because they break or steal ur stuff. my dad had sent 19 boxes once thenn later he sent a 46 inch lcd tv. I tried warning him abt these companies but he said that his 2 friends also sent thru this. 9months later we recieved 17 boxes with 2 boxes missing and from those 17 boxes somethings were missing. and the 17 boxes came at 2 sepearte times. and the tv it was so care fully wrapped but when we opened it the screen had a full crack. we had to pay rs30,000 to repair it. they shouldn't hav these small companies which promise everything safe and on time. we ppl only use them because they are cheaper than dhl, ups or fedex. But can't there be a solution.

people tend to ask for a good service "but cheap rate".

IMHO there is no such thing as a good service at a cheap rate. If you want it done/handled/delivered properly then pay for it.

Saving some "pennies" will in the end cost a load with missing/broken items. Yet these "cheap rate" companies tend to disappear.

Regards!!

You should name the Cargo Company for others to take care while sending goods. You are supposed to attach a list with the cargo and if you did not receive it why can't you claim it from them? LCD and LED TVs should be packed in wooden pallets to avoid damage.

There are some cargo Companies which are reliable but they will charge you bit more than the others. Try Ambassador Cargo, Al Suwais Cargo or Singapore Cargo next time.

i know a friend of mine who sent thru some Aljazeera cargo... & it never reached...!

this guy has been calling this company however all lines are disconnected...& he dosen't even know the location coz aljazeera cargo themselves pickedup the luggage from sender's address!
