Hi Sandra,

As per my knowledge (plz verify with your PRO), your family alone will not be able to board the flight (any air line).

You, based on your profession, can get on arrival visa at shariah airport (like Dubai airport) and if your family is accompanying you, they get the visa as well because you are their sponsor.

If your family alone will try to go, they will not let you board from here, because they will check the profession of your file's passport and house wife is the profession that gets the visa on arrival.

Sandra,

I am not sure if I understand your question ----- "It doesnot matter if where i come from is not part of the GCC countries ??"

1) if you have a qatari residence permit (RP) or any GCC residence permit, stamped in your passport, you can get visa on arrival at Dubai Int'l airport.

2) if you are coming from another country then you can apply on-line by refering the site mentioned above or apply thru' Emirates Airlines.

Hope that helps. This is as per my knowledge.

( I get visa on arrival regardless of GCC RP as long as I have an onward ticket. I usually fill out a form and pay Dhms.102/- at the bank in the airport and get a 30 day visit visa stamped in my passport. )

Sandra,

If you have a residence permit for any of the GCC countries (Qatar is one of them), you can get visa on arrival at Dubai airport.

Not reliable, last time I traveled, there was delay on air arabia.Guess how many hours. The truth is four hours delay. May be it is not always like that, but that is what I have noticed. If you don't mind with something like that, if it happens, then go for it.

I think its fine to send by Air Arabia since its a 20 minute flight..and their seating space is better than many "regular" airlines...

If you are qatari (from profile)..go ahead..Air Arabia is not like the European budget airlines with old planes...However "Visa on arrival" is not available at Sharjah Airport (for those who are not GCC nationals)..and this should be a consideration for those who need visa on arrival (available to GCC residents only on Dubai Airport)

I used air arabia last year, it is very good for the money you are paying, they use airbus jets, the only thing is that you have to pay for snack or food on the plane which usually don't need for such short flight....so don't worry about ur family.

Mr. Wadi,

If you don't care about service, then you go with air arabia.
