Well Swissgirl by this time I guess you must have finished watching the movie. Hope you liked it as much as I did. It was great fun and the special effects were mind blowing......and lets not get technical, but I guess the fiction in movies ( the country or the theme) is purely for entertainment. So just sit back and enjoy the show.

What do you mean? It was filmed in those countries?
It was filmed in New Mexico according to the the set release list.
Anyway, it's not something to be proud of :P They could of at least showed Qatar's city instead of the damn desert LOL

you might have to watch the movie twice to see the special effects. nice piece of work with the special effects
I thought the part where they depicted Qatar was demeaning. If they're going to censor silly love scenes here then why not censor something that is actully offensive to our culture or boycott it althogether.

but what i hated the most about were the bloody speeches about humanity's heart, and courage, and on and on and on...
that part of it was over the top, even for bruckenheimer.

no storyline, hard to believe.
How the hell does a car becomes a 10 metre robot.
totally far from reality. Robots fighting over some junk that can destory life or whatever.
you can stop a robot from functioning by freezing it. (waoow)

...i`ll go to have some entertainment because here is raining a lot and cold so no chance for outdoor activities.So i thought it is a good reason to go to the cinema.

I liked it! Although it is only a nice entertainment without any deeper understanding. BUt as I said it was worth it! But The scenes are not from Qatar except one scene, you will immediatly know which one typically describes Qatar!
