Well, they are beggars. They exist all over the world, everywhere. In some countries more than others. So what is the big deal?

Please dont give a single dirham to these people... These are members Of a gang. Dont even listen to them. Best is to ignore them and walk away. If u even look at them they will try harder. And dont worry, CID will get them soon.

Same thing Happen to us, we went for shopping in Lulu D ring road . As soon as we parked our car a man  came to my husband  and told us  he has no money to send to his family in pakistan and he need to pay rohusband told him room rent  ( a sobbing story) . My husband told him we don't have cash, he said finish  your shopping I will be waiting  here. After 2 hours when we came out . He came running towards us and my husband offered him 30 riyals , he said no atleast 100. I said no , and we came back. After 3 days we went to Red Tag and  boy came and told us same story. Again, my husband gave 20 Qr. After ,  2 days in same area , one man came to us and same old story. We said no and we went to FFC ,  near Mcdonals a man came up with same story and as soon we  reached to Bombay chowpati the man who came to us for help near Red tag appeared again asking for help , I said no. As we were getting out of our car the man who once met us in LULu appeared again. As soon , i said you again. He ran away.Within 10 days we came up so many similar cases... I don't understand , its' a gang or what ??? In the name of allah you are simply begging . What happens in the end that who really deserve our help  they suffer.   With

Don't get upset and turn off your caps lock...It happens here occasionally...Just ignore them instead of replying.

Its the same outside all the FFCs and many large mosques and Pizza Hut (Matar branch). Its not one person but a whole gang of them who are praying on the good sentiment of people during Ramadhan. Its been a while since the MOI last swooped on them: http://www.moi.gov.qa/site/english/news/2010/04/06/21718.html
