T Com, we all have things that bother us about QL. Sure I enjoy the arguments and love a good fight, while you hate them, that's why we can both choose to ignore what we don't like. There's a little something for everyone on here. The only problem is when some people choose not to ignore and instead make a big fuss out of things (personally I love it when that happens;)) some people end up getting personally attacked. Again you can ignore, or not, depending on your mood. :) For example one of the things that I really really hate about QL is a few of the members that, rather then be upfront and direct about what they are thinking about you, are very passive aggressive and try to pass off derogatory personal comments as "advice." Really really annoys me. But I ignore, and it makes QL sooo much more enjoyable. :D

you know...one of the things I always looked forward to was seeing what you posted in response to many of the threads, controversial or not, just because I liked your sense of humor or your ideas..some of them I disagreed with, but that's ok...they are your opinions and you were never harsh with your words. I understand why you choose to leave, but still wish you wouldn't. If you don't come back, then please, remember us as friends and all the GOOD times we had on here...like many things, the BAD can go away very quickly and soon is forgotten, but the kind words, the ones that make you smile when you were just a bit down in the dumps, will stick with you for a long time. Friendships are like that..the good ones remain, even if you lose touch for a while, but you always remember those friends and smile. The ones that make your like miserable, we forget easily within a few days..life has a way of numbing pain and making us forget it very quickly...
I wish you the best in whatever you choose to do...please stay in touch with some of us (ME!) and come do things with us when you can. You are a very sweet person...wherever you go, you will share of yourself with others and their lives will be richer...good luck my friend.

Alexa, agree with you, but sometimes the pure hatred that some of these insults contain does not allow someone to forgive....also human. Maybe the inability to say sorry shows then who really is your friend and whos not.......and also shows who really cares about others rather than themselves.

The problem with an open forum, especially on the internet is that its difficult to control how far people go and the words and phrases they use, each individual when posting uses whatever words they feel are approriate for them and there lies the problem. Yes we have controversial topics, thank god for them, and of course they attract different views so discussions is programmed, agruements too , as strong opinioned people tend to argue with each other, this is normal and to be expected. The real problem isnt the arguements its the insults, both general and personal these have nothing to do with the topic being discussed they are just meant to hurt someone......these are the problem not Fanatics, they are everywhere today, on both sides of the fence and you have to live with them on such a forum.
It is the inability of some people to stop at not accepting someones point of view and nothing else...........no they have to take it to an insult level as thats all they understand in the end.
Well I can understand that, but there isn't any arguing going on at the moment, is there??? Am I missing a fight somewhere :S ??

spoke with TCOM, sorry to spill this out buddy...but according to him he is quitting QL coz he couldn't take the arguments, disaggreements that some are having on board...
i already shared my views on him personally, so its his decision in the end..and i know that he wouldn't be able to resist QL..once hooked, it will be hard to turn your back...hehehehehe...
