yes but the spanish banned other languages and the conquistadores killed the SAVAGES (whom are not cotholic hence they have no souls and r savages) as they call them as they did in Andalusia

The conquered do take on the conquerers language and customs as they become the dominant culture. Not only the Arabs did this but the Spanish in South America did the same. Do you think the South Americans would have suddenly started speaking Spanish and adopting Christainity if they were not invaded by the Spanish?

Nation: The word nation may refer to a community of people who share a common language, culture, ethnicity, descent, or history. However, it can also refer to people who share a common territory and government (for example the inhabitants of a sovereign state) irrespective of their ethnic make-up.

Soem of you mixed between the Arab nation and the Arab unity.

Two different words

Anywhy,, Arab don't have unity but they have nation.

Yes Arabs did roam freely, right across north africa, the levant and persia when they conquered it.... don't make them sounds like victims, they did their share of fighting and invasion as well. Why do you think the people of North Africa speak Arabic and became muslims? It is not because they woke up one day and said that sounds like a good idea, it is because the arab armies conquered them!

first no body said we are united (colonization took care of that ) but we were, and arabs used to roam freely and live freely were ever they wanted in the Arab nation and as about jews we didnt really fight them much until they took over our lands but before that they lived freely under the jiziah laws and nobody did them harm we definitlly fought the romans and the crusaders and the persians more than them and being arabic is definitely not just about the arabic language and about the conflict and wars every nation has its bad times and every greedy ******** wants a piece of the cake as it happened before when they colonized the arabic nation !!!

Are Arabs really one united nation?

Aside from the fragmented and weak status of the Arab league, Arabs are out on Arab media cussing each other all the time..

The Egyptians think somehow the pinnacle of knowledge and the smartest in the bunch.

Lebanese are drunk of their own cockiness, most of them ( At least the ones I know ) like to link themselves to some European country and call themselves Phoenicians.

No wonder skin bleaching is great business in Lebanon.

The Gulfies think other Arabs are jealous of their oil-based wealth and so they’d rather continue importing cheap workforce from Asians nations than raising the pay to help reduce the already soaring unemployment rates amongst the youth of their fellow Arab brothers in other countries.

And then everybody be hatin on everybody else.

But The Arabs know that deep inside they love each other (Or do they?)

And you only know it by their govt’s attitude towards the Syrian crisis.

Had the Arabs been “One Nation”, Syrian blood wouldn’t have been flowing for second consecutive year.

Arabs and Jews are both semites, but as they say the people that fight the most and the most bitterly are normally related!

Aoy Arabs and Jews both have the same father but different mothers as per my knowledge. So Arabs and Jews are closer than any other nation.

to the term "nations" : "A large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory" then there surely is a nation of Arabs given the scores of attributes these congregated lands have in common.

However most countries belonging to the "Arab nations" assemblage has within their borders their own customs, traditions, laws, historical achievements, advancements, etc that may cause them to differ to various degrees from their neighbors. And you may notice many Arabs prefer to be referred to by their own country of origin when it comes to the nationality label rather than simply be known as "Arabs".

i respect that and im trying to help you understand since im an arab and i am educated in this and its easier for me to find information about the arabs and their nation since i speak the language and i am from a huge arabic tribe that can accurately trace its existence long before the prophets (PBUH) hijrah

the majority are muslims by a HUGE number

and what do u know about al ansab (arabic leanages)

the arabic tribes have their family trees in their hearts and on paper

and can connect theirs tribes to the whole ARABIC NATION i personally have people that i link to in north africa and the levintine arabs in my arabic tree since long a ago

by the way isnt it a bit funny and odd that somebody that doesn't even know his great grand parents names to teach people about their , identity , lineage and most importantly ancestry

Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, Iraqi and Egyptian might take umbrage at the 'one religion' comment......just sayin'.

But Arabs do not have one religion or one tradition. The Arabs of North Africa and the levant are conquered people by the Arabs of the Arabian Peninisular so absorbed the language, culture and religion of their conquerers

and suddenly everyone became an Arab a tribesman and an expert in our culture and affairs

and whats the reason of this topic anyway ?!

As outsiders many of u would think the Arabs as one nation. They are not !

In reality, Arabs are more loyal to their families/clans/tribes/sects than being Pan-Arabs.

The movie Lawrence of Arabia is a good source grasp a sense of the so called Arab nation and how it really works.

as arabs we have one religion , same culture, norms , identity , language, traditions and the same ancestry that goes back to al jazeerah al arabiya (arabic peninsula )

including palestine and the alahwaz region of iran and spain

what ever happens and what ever conflicts we have are between brothers and our people will always help each other in the time of need and we surley do not need a foreigner that shows hate in his disscusions and comments that speak of poison and try to stab anything that he doesnt like and relate to in and about us to teach us who we are

If you look at present day Arabs, you will find many of them have ancestral connections with North Africans, Turks and Persians. Now, they are known as Arabs just because they are nationals of countries terms as Arab nations. So, the recognition of a person as an Arab is only due to his nationality in an Arab nation and not because of his ancesters.

Thus, a person is an Arab because of his nationality...a nation is not considered an Arabic nation because of its people's race.

Your'e referring like there's " No nation of the worlds " ,its a wrong notion, since a nation is composed of one body/entity or group of nationality, while arab's refers to arabic-speaking people/nationalities which composed of different nations.

Asians do not have a common language, neither do westerners. However Arabs have a common language and in some respects a common culture. There is this belief in a common Arab identity but in reality nothing could be further from the truth.

There is no nation for Anybody.

To God belongs the Heavens and the Earth and everything within. The House that you reside is never yours and will cease to exist one day. The body that you posses is never yours and will cease to exist one day. Remember such a day. Do good to your parents and feed the poor and help the needy.
