Technical advise for Nokia N97...

yesterday I deleted few fotos from my Nokia N-97 but now still I can see the sign that 1347 fotos in mobile but when I try to open them a image of broken camera appears only.Now whatever I m clicking fresh is not transfering to my laptop like previous way.What should I do?Please advise...

connect your nokia using data/usb mode and copy/delete the pictures
