DC? - Been there, done that. :)

Once had a conversation with one of your countrymen in New Hampshire and he was soliciting my opinion on the 'Revolution', like it was yesterday!

"It was f**king 200yrs ago" I retorted, "I don't think I've ever given it a moments thought" Love you dearly but some of your lot are hilariously funny without meaning to be :D

Where did you go wrong? Oh yeah, you wanted freedom, how disrespectful after all we did for you, :D :D :D

I think we should bring back the Empire, you can clearly see now that it was a huge mistake to throw your tea in the drink. We will just want the Eastern Seaboard back of course. You do seem to have spoilt things a bit since 1776, so much so that we had to come back and burn a few Capital cities in 1805. There's a good chap, now you've had your fun, run along now and I want to see a lot more forelock pulling.

jauntie- please only communicate with the colonials when absolutely necessary as you're setting a rather bad example and it's poor form!

Not allowing stupid people into the CIA is racialist. Me Julie doesn't like racialists.

I bow to your greater knowledge of the English language.

Although I suspect, in my excitement I reverted to pre 1960s terminology.

the Aussie Rugby coach (or someone) said some very nasty things about us English regarding this match and also on the reason England didnt get to win some other sporting venues (can't explain properly). Had he said 'Muslim' or 'Jewish' or 'Noddy' he would have been down the nick for racialist remarks !

Honest!

it is SO tiresome to have to keep saying this because people don't seem to be able to hear or read.

(Enough already - let's show our typical English magnanimity in victory).

England have just beaten Australia at the ruby world cup in the quarter finals, despite every pundit (including me) writing them off.

On top of us beating them in the final four years ago, in Aussie mind you, I got to say that they looked a bit sick.

oh, did anyone mention that Enland just beat Ozzy, against all the odds and against all predictions, and the stupidity of the Oz. head of Rugby, etc, etc?

Just wanted to be sure you are aware.

A show from the 70's

a British show which can never be repeated in the UK - it's considered racist, and I have some sympathy with that view.

ps Australia knocked out of rugby world cup in the quarter finals by England 12-10

always good to get a win over the convicts, they hate it so much, tee hee

I never really got 'into' Mr Bean, but Black Adder - well - a class on it's own.

Why do people of the world love Mr Bean? Never understood it. Black Adder on the other hand is in a different class.
