I'm not sure if anyone encounter this incident with some teenagers here in Doha, but for me I experienced it several times, like teenagers using the side walk riding their bike and will stop in front or behind you and laugh. But yesterday was the worst. My husband, sister in-law and I was walking in one of the st. in Al Nasr Area, suddenly one teenager approached my husband and ask for his name, my husband amazed and wondered said why? I also ask for the same question, he was even looking for his Qatar ID, so I ask the guy, "what's the problem?","he said you were walking in the road and its already 9:00", I answered back "anything wrong with that?". He laugh, turn his back and go...A teenager in shirt, pants and a cap asking for my husband's ID Card??!!This really pissed me off... I will understand if someone will confront us if its midnight and we're doing something strange outside but hey its only 9PM and we're only walking. If any teenager reading this, please show some manners!

to the OP: darkt has the same avatar pic as you and, like you, has a thread asking about salaries. And your writing style is similar. Yet he is a Tunisian male thinking of moving to Qatar, and you are woman living here already.

Care to explain?

Relax, nothing to worry! Scenes like these are often witnessed by Xparts! I suggest if GOD FORBID, something like that happens again, just IGNOOORRREEEE!

The question shouldve been other way round, you should have asked this kid what was he doing on the side walk with a bicycle at 9 pm :)

Cheers
