Anyone in Qatar pls tell me if it is alright to book a hotel and spend the night with my girlfriend. I've hear from someone that this is prohipited here that unmarried couple cannot spend the night together in hotel.

don't act in a way that might attract suspicion. ie, don't go up to the reception asking for a room together and acting all shifty..of course they're gonna ask!

I've stayed at Sealine and Rydges overnight with a guy and was never asked for a marriage certificate.

In all probability you won't be asked to show the contract. Or call them and ask them in advance. I stayed in various hotels around town with my husband (we don't share a surname) and we were never ever asked to show our wedding certificate.

No way. To share a room you need to provide a marriage contract.

Marriot used to have special offer for valentine. And me, hubby and son normally going there for the night. Since I am still on Indonesian passport and hubby british (and i don't have my marriage name on my passport), eventhough we have a son in tow we still have to show our marriage certificate.
