Sri Lanka vacation in December
any suggestions for the ~PERFECT place to stay? of course we want it all- surf waves for the teenage boys, quiet beach for mom, pool for the little one, hotel bar for dad, a bit of pampering for all of us, some culture and social life, but not so crazy we have to worry about the teens all night long. So- any ideas for where to stay?? Thanks!

Am sitting in Sri Lanka writing this. To go anywhere besides your hotel is nightmare because of traffic and beggars. Takes about 4 hours to go 80KM. Doha to Al-Khor would be a 3 hour trip.
If you go, be ready for traffic problems, etc. Should count on hotel for most everything as going out is a headache.
Well If its sri lanka, the best place I know is Arugambay... I hope the resorts there are still active after the tsunami & the Rebel Conflict.
