SPEED !
Alright !
I've been on QatarLiving.com for only two days so far.
Aside from the fact that this community is an excellent concept, with amazing members, I have noticed that the site is quite slow in loading.
QTEL offers its ADSL services in speeds of 512Kbps / 1 Mbps / & 2 Mbps, so if you have somewhat of a slow connection you might tend to think that's it's your Internet connection that's causing the delay, and not the site.
Nevertheless, the connection I'm currently using is a 5.0 Mbps ! & QL is still very slow in loading, which leads me to think that's it's the site and not the connection, that is causing the delays. It's the only site that I experience delays when using.
I was wondering:
How many of you are also experiencing the same problem?
If so, which browser are you using? & What speed is your connection (if you know it)?

If loading times weren't one of the most important things in maintaining a good site, I would've not brought this issue up, but it is, so Let's all bring this small issue to the table to see what could be done about it.
Yea, I think the majority of double posts is caused by that.
I went through the forums and I've noticed that quite a number of people have earlier noted the same problem and even suggested new structures for the site.
I have to agree though, this site is worth it!

Yep, the site server must be seriously slow for some reason. Im on a 2Mbps connection and have no problems with other sites. Posting here can take forever! Is worth it though, its a great site
