I have family visiting soon who hold South African passports. Does anyone know if they can get a tourist visa on arrival at the airport (like an Australian or NZ passport holder could?)
Qatari is chief of the ql forum police. He knows everything!! he see's everything - trust me!! apply for the visa's asap, you will need to issue a letter of invitation to your family and they will then have to apply there with your letter.
You need to apply for the visa before u leave sa. It can take a while so get going - talk to the qatar embassy in Pretoria for info. u cannot get it on arrival. we had to wait for my husband's rp in order to get our visa's or u need to get sponsered by a hotel or family member with an rp. good luck with the bureaucracy!!!
