sixth sense

Everyone is aware of their five basic senses, seeing, feeling, smelling, hearing and tasting. What everyone is not so well aware of is their sixth sense, that sense of other worldliness, a connection to something more and greater than their physical senses are able to perceive.
This is the entrance to the world of the unseen encounter, the unheard communication, the unfelt touch of someone from the spiritual world trying to make a connection with someone in the physical body.Tell me how you feel about it....?

The sixth sense is a part of everyone whether or not they like it. It is a normal part of the human psyche and not abnormal or reserved for special or gifted persons.

Yes, i do have a strong SIXTH SENSE power to feel about negatives(especially)that might/could get happened to me in future..

It has proved on many occasions whenever i have sensed something wrong in advance..

Sixth sense is usually developed after marriage. Her indoors seems to know my thoughts even before I have them :O(

Islamicly we are told good dreams are from Allah and bad dreams from shaitaan trying to mess with us. However some dreams though may seem bad may actually be of something beneficial like a forewarning. Either ways never underestimate your dreams since they do come true..Mashallah!

By GodFather.• 19 Oct 2010 08:12
GodFather.

Fathimah. Yes but most of these dreams are not good. They are always about some thing bad that happens!

By FathimaH• 19 Oct 2010 08:11
FathimaH

that's considered a major blessing in Islam. Having dreams that come true..so Thbarakhallah..good for you though it may sure freak you out!

Let her continue in that belief FathimaH.

My kids asked me if I have eyes"hidden" on the back of my head. Cos everytime they try to hide and do something I warn them, even I may not be looking at them. Think that freaks them out. But I am enjoying the fact that they think I have "superpowers" to detect their naughty deeds...lol

By lawa• 19 Oct 2010 08:08
lawa

it is true some people have this much power.

By GodFather.• 19 Oct 2010 08:08

Isn't it amazing?my daughter is now convinced that if she does something unacceptable Allah will "reveal it" to her mama..lol

By Ice Maiden• 19 Oct 2010 08:01

Sixth sense is what most mothers have.....the way they catch their kids before they end up doing something naughty...or how we "diagnose" that our kids are not well even before a doctor's visit.

when it comes to matters concerning my daughter. I just "know" if she's unwell/unhappy/in trouble etc..Alhamdullilah,its a blessing for us moms! Also many a times I've sensed some kind of danger etc for my own self as well and turned out my feelings were right.. So yeah I believe in it..for sure.

lawa.....

Once upon a time, When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old man sitting on a park bench sobbing his eyes out. I stopped and asked him what was wrong.

He told me, 'I have a 22 year old wife at home. She rubs my back every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee.'

I continued, 'Well, then why are you crying?'

He added, 'She makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favourite biscuits, cleans the house and then watches sports TV with me for the rest of the afternoon.'

I said, 'Well, why are you crying?'

He said, 'For dinner she makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favourite dessert and then we cuddle until the small hours.'

I inquired, 'Well then, why in the world would you be crying?'

He replied, 'I can't remember where I live.'...:(
